Four Rivers is back for PDAC 2017! Visit Four Rivers Group (FRG) at the Matawa First Nations Management Booth #750. Hours are 10am-5pm March 5th-7th and from 9-12 on the 8th.
Avian Species at Risk audio clips are also back by popular demand – Come down and listen to a recent Whip-poor-will bird call recorded in the Matawa Traditional Homelands territory. We have an acoustic monitoring device on site so you can see and understand how these audio files are collected out on the land. You can also have a look at the bat acoustic attachment and explore how these monitors can record more than just birds!
Do you have questions about our environmental monitoring services? Do you want to hear more about other recent projects FRG has been working on? Four Rivers Group has recently completed some very exciting wolverine and sturgeon research within the Matawa region. We have staff who are eager to learn how we can help with your projects and will answer any questions you may have. From Mapping & GIS and Environmental Monitoring to training and Communications services, we are here to chat about it all!
Pick up a few of FRG’s maps and factsheets while you’re down. We have several 11×17 Matawa region maps to choose from including mining claims, watersheds, Treaties boundaries and more. Factsheets include information on geomatics programming, community based environmental monitoring, the mining sequence and even the rare wolverine!
PDAC is a great place to catch up, we look forward to sharing the new and exciting work we have done since we last saw you!
See you at booth #750!
